Evening Monday Jazz

real lounge scene - mexican sounds - of percussion and choppy ivory off the piano deck, five sax strong - the guy on the end intriguing the most - real smooth and wears a Sunday cap - drums and two strong bongos - this lady tapping her dress shoes next to me - pilgrim like and black with a buckle

female bassist - quiet movement on her face but quick hand and strong tips... serious flow gentlemen? her being the sole lady - and the old teacher in the front bobbing his covered white back & forth, tapping his foot to the pianist and his insane fingers, I can only see the back of his neck - bearing red and true feeling -aggression --drumer's being real smooth against the cymbals, soft crashes & sudden beats - he's got integerity on his face, layed out lips showing relaxed enjoyment - sporting a white , black pin-stripe vest and strong sideburns against his face...you know he snaps his fingers in his sleep

-- the group of trumpets in the back - real cool cats - having a grand of tonight, always be bopping their heads to the rhythm created -- a real brute gent just went loud & mad and oh a stand off & now the younger of the five just blew up and out - down the pads of his instrument go his fingers bop bop bop! down the line we go (another) and go (and another) again real smooth - well played improvical beauty...

this is still in the works....went to a jazz band performance for my music class and I had to due a report on them.....and I wrote a little in the process...but it was a real nice nite..and I got some ambition to put some more into this one...so just tell me what you think of it...and...be honest.

It's the beat the beat beat BE-AT! Go Jack go!

I have to say I'm stunned! I love jazz..rhythm and blues tends to run in my family. My uncle even has his own jazz band, which features professional musicians from the Hawaii Symphony...some artist come down from New York to play!

I can understand all the imagery your using...I can see the people you describe bobbing their heads and moiving their hands and legs to the beat!

My suggestion is to keep going I am intrigued that someone else is intrested in jazz at my age group Very unique.

well..i would be interested in some jazz if i could get to it. and this is a good description of something obviously very new to you. not too deep, but it serves the purpose.

but it does (as I sit back, listening to the doors, The Spy that is, and Morrison is god, well that is in one of my beliefs anyway, but those beliefs are far too numerous and highways long) so I take a drag from my cigarette and smile through my exhale....parch, you are one of my catatlyst -- and those are numerous too, but right now, i have four that stick out...and you being one of those...so I say, what you say is golden and appreciative...and continue to do so, so I indulge not only in your words, but your knowledge and kind truth...for you make me better and more intrigued with each new conversation we embark on...

this is nice to really sit on and just read the words slowly as though it's happening inside ur mind...the movements gave it a strong harmony to the instruments...and also to the entire scenario

Thanks tsilo....i do still want to add to this....but I dont' know what..it's kind of hard to add to it when I'm not there anymore, but the imagination is still wild in my mind..you know? you got any ideas?
